Our Herritage

VRLTi is built on the intersection of heritage craftsmanship and modern engineering—where precision meets purpose, and material becomes meaning.

At its foundation is a third-generation toolmaker, shaped by a lifetime in metal, form, and function. Trained at the historic Birmingham School of Jewellery in the early 1990s, this grounding in traditional techniques was further refined under a Master Lapidary—instilling a deep respect for detail, balance, and finish.

The journey then moved into advanced manufacturing. A decade in the machine tools industry, working with Toshiba Machine Tool Company and HAAS Automation, brought mastery of exotic materials and high-precision engineering. Titanium—valued for its strength, resilience, and complexity—became the defining medium.

This dual expertise formed the foundation for a pioneering luxury line launched in 2008 under Crowned Jewels, producing refined pieces in sterling silver and titanium with an uncompromising focus on elevating form and redefining expectations.
